Once we signed the contract to build a locomotive construction plant in Engels, we redesigned and changed parts of the project to undergo a second cost-saving evaluation. This resulted in reduction of construction costs by 5 million euros.

2. Quick start and short construction terms
In as little as 2 weeks after contract to build the “Almi” shopping center was signed, our designers released the first working documentation. After 3 weeks construction began. After 8 months the finished project was handed over to the customer.

Manufacturing of metal structures

Litana group is a biggest manufacturer of metal structures for construction business in Baltic States. Currently we have two factories in Lithuania and Russia. These produce about 700 tons of metal structures per month. Within our manufacturing plants, all metal fabrications are produced using advanced materials, technologies and treatments conforming to EU manufacturing and safety standards. We produce both standard metal structures for load-bearing frames and pipelines, ventilation channels, pressure vessels, filter frames, etc. All production items are used for our contracts in EU countries as well as in Russia and the Republic of Belarus. Both factories are certified according to ISO 9001, EN 1090-2, EN 3834, OHSAS 18001 requirements.

Manufacturing of stainless steel items

“Litana“ professionals design and manufacture items from various stainless steel grades for many aims and purposes. One type for example are conveyors, platforms, reservoirs, and so on for the food processing industry, manufactured according to 2006/42/ES regulation. We also can install the machinery, commission it and arrange for the periodic maintenance services. These include also piping systems of various diameters, reservoirs, ladders, gangways and more. In 2018 we manufactured protective stainless steel structures weighing some 40 tons for bridge towers and assembled them in Norway at an astounding height of 180 meters.

Designing

Our design office is the biggest in the Baltic States, equipped with modern software capable to handle 10-12 projects at one time. As we do the design in various countries (Sweden, Russia, Norway, Lithuania, Finland, Belarus, Latvia), we have a unique opportunity to combine and use the design and construction experience by choosing the most economical decisions for every project. Design works are carried out by our professionals, helping our customers save significant costs, both because of reduced construction materials and by applying practical design decisions.

Rent and scaffold structure assembly

Nearly 100 “Litana“ professionals carry out the design works and scaffold assembly structures, platforms, rolling towers, safety meshes, as well as perform their maintenance and dismantling. If asked, we are in position to lease this equipment to clients. We deal with all types of industrial and facade scaffolders plus the well-known German company Layher acts as our loyal partner and consultant. Because of our co-operation with Layher we can fulfil any requests of our customers, for example the assembly of temporary catwalks, tents, and the scaffolds are covered with thermal insulating plastic film. “Litana“ is a member of the Swedish association STIB, registered in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce KVK.NL. Our professionals take special training and obtain the necessary certificates and licenses to carry out work in EU countries.

Industrial projects

“Litana” professionals participate in electrical power, petrochemical, mining and nuclear industry building and reconstruction projects. Our plants produce pipelines and ventilation channels of various diameters, overhead trays, filters and other nonstandard equipment. We perform all range of services on site, including assembly and welding works, gas pipeline tubing works, assembly of scaffold bridges, large-size equipment. We carry out painting and insulation works, plus work with carbon and stainless steel, including chrome-molybdenum and DUPLEX steel in accordance with the following standards: EN, NORSOK, ASME/ASTM and so on.
