We started 2025 with a two-day intensive training session with our long-standing partners Triple O Consulting. This time, the focus was on change management, a topic that is particularly relevant in an ever-changing business environment. One of the practices discussed was the vision for change, which works by asking the initial question „why?“ change is necessary, then analyses „how?“ it can be done and only in the final stage the specific actions are stipulated – „what?“ has to be done. The team also explored and delved deeper into the stages of change acceptance, also known as the „four rooms system“. The first room is „satisfaction“, where the processes are working as usual and there is no need for change. The second is „denial“, where a manager or team initiates a change but they are met with scepticism or even rejection. This is a critical point - some people may get stuck in this phase for a long time, while others gradually move into the third phase of „testing“, where new approaches are introduced and the best solutions are sought. Finally, the fourth room is reached – „renewal“ – where change becomes a normal part of the job. Understanding theese stages helps us to manage change more smoothly and to implement it more easily. We believe that the knowledge gained will be successfully applied in day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth growth and long-term success of the organisation.
