Litana is launching a step counting challenge to encourage more sustainable behaviour and contribute to environmental awareness. Employees are encouraged to prefer walking to short car journeys, which not only improves their health and physical activity but also saves CO₂ emissions. It is estimated that one tree absorbs around 22 kg of CO₂ per year, while a person would need to walk around 150,000 steps to achieve the same effect, saving an equivalent amount of CO₂. The project will count both team and individual steps and will reward the most active participants with prizes. But the main point of this challenge is real action: for every 150,000 steps walked by the community, a tree will be planted in Litana Park, which will contribute to cleaning the air and preserving nature for years to come. This is a great way to combine a healthy lifestyle with sustainable solutions.
